Une sortie en famille

          Chaque année, mon planning d'essais m'impose de jongler avec les parcs presse, les horaires hyper bookés de mes collaborateurs de l'"Oli le Belge team", les partenaires, etc.
Et puis, de temps en temps, au retour de vacances salvatrices, je me mets à rêver d'une journée juste pour moi, une journée qui ne serait qu'un prétexte pour retrouver ma préférée, qui même après 10 ans d'essais, me fait toujours ban, heu, bondir !

          Une sortie en famille par Oli le Belge

Réussir à réunir en moins d'un mois les partenaires, les motos et les pilotes pour un dimanche ensoleillé est une véritable gageure. Mais la motivation était là !

Je démarre les recherches par Yamaha. La MT 125, la 07 et la 09 sont disponibles, ça c'est fait.
Je sais où trouver une 01, Motodoc Wavre en possède trois dont une splendide noire full options.
Je sors les yeux de cocker, un saut jusque là et l'affaire est entendue.
J'ai juste dû promettre de faire super gaffe, vu qu'elle est chaussée de pneus neufs.
Pour la 03, coup de chance, l'épouse du boss presse de chez Dieteren en possède une !

Pour les motos, ça roule !

Je vous laisse imaginer le peu de difficultés pour trouver les pilotes. 2 ou 3 coups de fil à des potes de confiance et l'affaire est faite.

J'ai toujours rêvé d'avoir l'appui d'un drone lors de mes essais et après l'une ou l'autre recherche je suis tombé sur une jeune société DSE.
Le boss est sympa et il accepte de jouer le jeu de cette journée un peu spéciale.
Je ne peux laisser mes pilotes sans un équipement de sécurité adéquat.
Une fois de plus Stephan nous fait le plaisir de mettre à disposition une flotte complète de gilets Airbag Helite.
Pour ma part, je ne peux imaginer me passer de cette sécurité pour laquelle attacher la dragonne à mon gilet est un geste aussi naturel que de boucler ma ceinture en voiture !

Bon, assez parlé, en route.

          MT-125

          Dans cette livrée gris mat, la 125 fait vraiment de l'effet. Lorsqu'elle était dans le garage à côté de la 07, c'était elle la plus grosse. Vraiment difficile d'imaginer que nous sommes face à un petit mono qui développe près de 15 chdin.
Pour respecter la logique, je démarre la vidéo à son guidon.
La position est tranquille, le moulin est très discret et ma passagère du jour n'a pas l'air trop mal installée.
Le moteur distribue sa puissance tranquillement et d'une manière équilibrée. Pour passer le temps, il y a toujours ce superbe tableau de bord digne de Stars Wars à regarder !
Voilà une moto qui ravira les jeunes permis et les plus anciens qui ont envie de revenir à la moto.

          MT-03

          Les plus jeunes d'entre vous ne connaissent peut-être pas la MT 03. C'était la seconde déclinaison de la famille MT (pour Maximum Torque de l'anglais Couple Maximum)
C'était aussi le troisième modèle de chez Yamaha à utiliser le 660 du duo XTXXTZ.
Déjà à l'époque (en 2005!) j'adorais ce mono.
Pratique, non, confortable, certainement pas, une invitation au voyage, pas du tout!
Pourquoi l'aimer alors? Simplement parce que sur petites routes (vraiment petites!) les 45 Ch, la transmission courte et la position supermotard sont tellement de facteurs qui rendent le quotidien fun.
De plus, la finition léchée, l'amorto arrière en position latérale, les pots sous la selle, ben ça le faisait!
Cette moto a déjà croisé ma "carrière" journalistique à maintes reprises et à chaque fois j'appréciais les moments passés à son guidon.

          MT-07

          La 07 fait partie de la nouvelle génération MT, et une fois de plus voilà une moto à part. Sauf qu'elle c'est un peu dans l'autre sens.
Lors de notre première rencontre, je l'avais confrontée dans un comparatif 1, 2 et 3 cylindres à la KTM Duke 690 et à sa grande sœur la 09. En début de journée les deux pilotes qui m'accompagnaient ne jetaient même pas un regard au bicylindre, trop heureux de pouvoir faire joujou avec les deux autres.
A la pause de midi, après avoir eu les fesses tannées par la selle de l'Autrichienne et quelques frayeurs avec les 115 Ch du trois cylindres sous la pluie, les 75 Ch et la selle confortable de la 07 semblent être une alternative intéressante.
En fin de journée, tout le monde était d'accord pour dire que cette 700 était la vraie surprise ! Assez performante pour suivre le reste de la meute, elle ménage vraiment son pilote (pas plus d’1,80 mètre quand même !)
De plus pour moins de 7000 €, ça reste une superbe affaire.

          MT-09

          Là, je me retrouve face à l'aînée de la nouvelle génération. Une moto que j'adore.
De plus, j'ai eu la chance d'être un des premiers journalistes belges à la tester sur nos routes défoncées... Un grand souvenir !
La 09 a été la première à reprendre l'appellation MT. Pour le coup, lors de cet essai, j'avais été bluffé par le caractère du nouveau 850.
Cette moto est hyper joueuse, le trois cylindres permet des envolées dans les tours super jouissives et la partie cycle est au niveau.
Une vraie pousse au crime cette 09. Je pense que c'est son plus grand défaut !
L'arrivée de la Tracer sur le marché n'a pas sonné le glas pour sa petite sœur, la 09 garde de grandes qualités de légèreté et de facilités de conduite.

          MT-01

          Rhaaa, ma licorne à moi, ma moto préférée, oui vous avez bien lu, ma moto préférée !
Et pourtant, difficile de faire une moto plus imparfaite.
Vous prenez un gros bicylindre 1700 cc d'un custom, une partie cycle et les freins d'une R1 de l'époque.
Le modèle prêté par Motodoc est la dernière série, elle est donc équipée d'étriers monobloc à 6 pistons.
Juste pour le plaisir, vous pouvez retrouver une vidéo pour profiter du son des Akra sans DB killer ! Un plaisir difficilement concevable pour rouler tous les jours.

          En conclusion

          Quelle magnifique journée, que de souvenirs pour les motards présents.
Pouvoir passer lors d'un essai d'une 125 à une 1700, de motos sorties dans les années 2005 à d'autres actuelles, le pied !
Voilà une fois de plus la vraie raison de ma passion, le partage...
