With the 2024 edition of the Tourist Trophy now closed, it's time to look back at one of the major performances that led to British rider Davey Todd's success in Superstock... And an update on the "All-Time" winners' standings.
Superstock TT: Peter Hickman dethroned!
On the rise, Davey Todd, who rides in the British Superbike championship this year, arrived in the TT paddock with his gauge full of confidence. This was soon confirmed by some impressive lap times. Mainly known to insiders, British riders have become serious outsiders this year on the "Isle of Man TT". Is it enough to challenge the supremacy of Peter Hickman, winner of the last five editions of the Superstock category? We had the premise, already, in the Sunday race at the end of the TT Superbike. Davey Todd, second, finished just a few steps behind Peter Hickman.
On June 6, 2024, the roles were reversed, marking a turning point in Tourist Trophy history. Todd won on his Milwaukee BMW M 1000 RR, his first Tourist Trophy victory. Dunlop completed the podium. Later in the week, the 28-year-old will also win the Milwaukee Senior TT.
Not one, but two successes for Davey Todd at the 2024 edition of the Tourist Trophy.

Michael Dunlop at the top, Dave Molyneux retires...
As expected, this past week saw Joey Dunlop succeeded at the top of the standings by his nephew, Michael. It happened at the Supertwin TT Race 2, with the MD Racing/Yamaha rider becoming the most successful rider in the event's history: Michael Dunlop is "The new King of the Mountain"!
In fourth place in this previous ranking, Dave Molyneux, the most successful rider in the history of Sidecar TT, has announced his retirement. He leaves the scene with a total of 17 wins and 31 podiums to his credit since his debut in 1985.
Dave Molyneux leaves behind countless successful memories.
Of note is Pierre-Yves Bian's 12ᵉ place on the second SuperTwin during this adventure. It should be remembered that he was the first Frenchman to stand on a Tourist Trophy podium, last year.
