from 1999 to 2024Suzuki 1300 Hayabusa - all about speed

When Suzuki presented its GSX 1300 R Hayabusa, it was a shock! A strange silhouette, an overpowering engine, and the 300 km/h mark blown away. Hardly at ease on the track, Suzuki's rocket was forged for pure speed. The second generation slightly increases engine size and horsepower. The styling was modernized, but the guiding lines were maintained. Its career continued for another ten years, then the bike took a three-year break. In 2021, the Hayabusa was back in the news... but with less power. On the other hand, its mechanics are fuller and it's full of electronic assistants.

The question of the presence of such a machine may raise doubts today. The market is no longer very keen on this kind of missile, all the hypersports are more powerful than it, and the competition doesn't even exist any more. Yet the Hayabusa still exudes an incredible aura, and its name will go down in motorcycle history for a long time to come, if not longer.
