The manufacturers in Russia

Russia is a land of excesses of all kinds, but more moderation within the motorcycle domain. A word immediately comes to mind: Ural. In the same line followed its twin cousin Dniepr (Ukraine). The archetype of the rustic motorcycle, neither very fast nor reliable but nonetheless ready to cross Siberia. The Russian motorcycle industry remained largely confined in the USSR, with a Communist scent and doctrine, of Typhoon submarines, and of labor and of perseverance. Early in the Soviet Union, brands like Minsk or Voskhod knew how to distinguish themselves.
